GP Referrals
Traditionally patients have been seen by specialists following a GP referral and for many insurers this is still the only way to access an appointment funded by your insurance company. Mr Nedas is also able to see patients who self refer and who do not have a GP referral.
If you are unable to access an appointment with your GP, several insurance companies now provide a GP referral service for their policy holders.
Nedas Urology can also provide details of private GP practices in Basingstoke and Winchester.
Insured Patients
Mr Nedas works with all UK insurance companies and can bill directly for your consultation and treatments.
Prior to your consultation you will need to contact your insurance company for an authorisation code. It is useful to have your membership number and authorisation code to hand when you book your appointment with Mr Nedas.

Self Funding Patients
Mr Nedas can see you without a GP referral but it is always preferable to have one.
If your NHS GP is unable to see you we can provide you with details of local private GP services in either Basingstoke or Winchester.

- Follow up consultation £170
All scans and tests carried out in the consultation will be charged separately by the hospital.
If following your consultation you require further treatment or diagnostic tests we can provide you with a fixed price cost for this.
We are happy to share any test results or clinic letters with the NHS, but please
note that paying for private treatment will not speed up any NHS treatment that you are waiting for.
